September, 1987 , Mark and his family arrived in San Francisco, California. This was a grand finale of Mark’s family journey that started in May, 1979  , it started in The Soviet Union Republic of Ukraine . That was the time when The Soviet Union proclaimed to the world that the Soviet people who wish to leave the country , they could go through the administration process via submission of the application to receive the exit visa .
Mark’s family followed this procedure, but in July , 1979 their application was rejected…. And Mark submitted the second application in 6 months  , and again the application was rejected… This process was repeated 16 times , almost a whole decade. Finally, the time of good news came in and Mark’s family received an exit visa to leave The Soviet Union…. Coming to America  after being rejected 16 times was a true American Dream story .
Mark learned about the opportunity to pursue happiness in a hard way …. but it also was a true life experience how to deal with adversity, how to stay positive despite all obstacles, and never give up following the dream  .
Mark decided to enter Financial Services Industry .
